Job Description:Must be a good writer who understands storytelling, teamwork, and live television. Candidate should have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of reporting and photoournalism experience. Journalism and/or Mass communication degree preferred. Applicants should have good news judgement, strong writing skills, strong photography skills, and non-linear editing experience. Must be able to work nights, week-ends and holidays. Must have valid drivers' license, and a safe driving history (driving record will be checked.) Candidates will be required to develop to develop and cover enterprise story ideas, handle assignments from the Assignment Desk, interview story subjects, develop story contacts, and write, shoot and edit their stories on-air, and write and post stories on-online. Some live work with another photographer will be required.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. The Company will make reasonable physical accomodations and facilitate the ability to perform essential job functions. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds required.Please send demo tapes in DVD format. |
